Breakfast shenanigans. She thinks she’s hilarious.
When the 3 year old pukes in her bed 15 minutes into naptime and wakes up the 15 month old and both kids are tired and screaming and not going back to sleep no matter how much they need it…..

Over-consumption of junk.
So the husband was on vacation last week, which resulted in us coming home from the grocery store with three different kinds of sausage. Plus we ate out at least four times. I had kale for breakfast. I’ve already made no bake energy balls, hummus, and I’m roasting chick peas. The rest of my week will probably consist of a truckload of veggies.
Scenes from Easter weekend at the Grand Hotel, Point Clear, Alabama.
It’s such a magical place. Just over an hour away, but it feels like you’re a world away. Magnificent oak trees with Spanish Moss. A little candy kitchen. Beautiful flowers in full bloom. Tea time. Croquet. Hammocks.
I love this Easter tradition of ours.

How my husband started his vacation: cold beer watching me do yard work edition.
Good news: garden is all ready for me to transplant veggies. No more tomatoes on my nightstand!
That would be my 15 month old polishing off a tray of crawfish.

The aftermath of a long Easter weekend in Fairhope: passed out Daddy, worn out Kylie, 102 temp for Emma, and Madison puppy begging for belly rubs. Glad for family snuggles this afternoon after lots of time enjoying the sunshine.
